All Coyote Backbone Trail Ultra training runs are free and open to all, official players or otherwise. They are self-supported and you participate at your own risk. These trails are tough and the weather fickle – bring more layers, fluids, electrolytes and calories than you think you will need, a strategy that will also serve entrants well on race day. Those bringing snacks and beverages to share afterwards will earn kharmic brownie points (Bonus minutes). Section maps that include meeting locations noted below can be found here.

We will run sections of the trail that have been most problematic for runners getting lost as well have a few runs on the new 100 mile section loops. Stay tuned….
